GEA employs a client-focused, technology forward approach in the design of its projects. We offer comprehensive services to meet the MEP needs for projects of all scales. Our approach utilizes innovative design practices, emphasizing the reliance on cross-trade coordination to provide quality, on-time deliverables for our client base.

Welcome to GEA, where innovation meets expertise! We are a dynamic team of passionate engineers dedicated to providing exceptional MEP/FP services. With a commitment to finding creative solutions for every project, we strive to push the boundaries of what is possible. Our team is not only highly skilled and experienced, but they also possess a unique ability to think outside the box. We firmly believe that the key to success lies in innovative thinking and problem-solving. No matter the complexity of the project, our team thrives on challenges and embraces them as opportunities to showcase our creativity. We offer full building system and interior fit-out designs for our engineering services.

GEA prides itself on thinking outside that box. This is one of the many reasons why we enjoy being a part of the peer review process. Conducting a peer review does not mean that the design team was not qualified, but instead, it allows for another team to present viable solutions to a challenge. It also presents the opportunity for value engineering to ensure the most cost-efficient design is being recommended. Peer reviews are also excellent steps in ensuring code compliance and quality control.

Special inspectors are third party licensed professional engineers who oversee the construction and sign off of a project. Special inspection agencies are required to be hired by the owner, and are required for every single permitted project in New York City.

We provide all Mechanical related Inspections for the TR-1 form and all Energy Progress Inspections for the TR-8 form as required by the New York City Department of Buildings.

System commissioning is a crucial step in ensuring a building is performing in an efficient and effective manner. The process ensures that systems are installed based on the contract documents, owner’s needs and within the design intent. Our agents have years of experience and are well versed in building system installations and operations. We will periodically visit the site and provide field reports based on our findings, conduct submittal review, prefunctional/functional testing and observe major equipment startups. For new construction this process is a major tool for risk management. However, commissioning is not limited to new construction. We also specialize in enhanced commissioning and retro commissioning for existing buildings and as required under Local Law 84.

At GEA, we recognize that the construction industry has a significant impact on the environment. That’s why we are dedicated to incorporating sustainable design principles into our projects. From energy-efficient systems to environmentally friendly materials, we prioritize solutions that minimize carbon footprint and promote long-term sustainability. Our team remains up-to-date on the latest advancements in sustainable technologies, best practices and incentive programs. In collaboration with our clients, we develop customized solutions that align with their sustainability objectives.
