We firmly believe that the key to success lies in innovative thinking and problem-solving. No matter the complexity of the project, our team thrives on challenges and embraces them as opportunities to showcase our creativity. We offer full building system and interior fit-out designs for our engineering services.
GEA prides itself on thinking outside the box. We offer peer review services where we search for code and design mistakes in addition to developing alternative more cost effective designs.
We present the opportunity for value engineering to ensure the most cost-efficient design is being recommended. Peer reviews are also excellent steps in ensuring code compliance and quality control.
GEA is also a special inspection agency registered with the city of New York. Our special inspectors are experts in MEP construction and can identify problems and issues quickly to ensure a fast sign off.
We provide all Mechanical related Inspections for the TR-1 form and all Energy Progress Inspections for the TR-8 form as required by the New York City Department of Buildings.
System commissioning is a crucial step in ensuring a building is performing in an efficient and effective manner. This process ensures that systems are installed based on the contract documents, owner’s needs, and within the design intent. Our agents have years of experience and are well versed in building system installations and operations. A typical commissioning project would entail periodic site visits, field reports identifying observations and errors, submittal review, prefunctional/functional testing and observe major equipment startups. For new construction this process is a major tool for risk management. However, commissioning is not limited to new construction. We also specialize in enhanced commissioning and retro commissioning for existing buildings and as required under Local Law 84.
At GEA, we recognize that the construction industry has a significant impact on the environment. That’s why we are dedicated to incorporating sustainable design principles into our projects. From energy-efficient systems to environmentally friendly materials, we prioritize solutions that minimize carbon footprint and promote long-term sustainability. Our team remains up-to-date on the latest advancements in sustainable technologies, best practices and incentive programs. In collaboration with our clients, we develop customized solutions that align with their sustainability objectives.
