GEA is leading the MEP design for a new 9-story residential building totaling approximately 73,348 square feet. The building will feature a mix of residential and commercial spaces, with the first floor allocated for both residential use and 9,300 square feet of commercial space. Floors two through nine are dedicated exclusively to residential units.
The project includes the “Core & Shell” design of the retail space on the first floor. Should this retail space be utilized as a restaurant, GEA will handle the coordination and design of the kitchen hood exhaust flue routing and the grease trap. The detailed fitout for the restaurant will be managed under a separate contract.
Key features include a comprehensive MEP design tailored to support the mixed-use functionality of the building. This includes ensuring that the Core & Shell provisions meet the requirements for potential future commercial kitchen installations, with appropriate design considerations for HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure to support both the residential and commercial components effectively.
