GEA completed the comprehensive replacement of the Palace Theater’s HVAC systems, installing new, high-efficiency packaged rooftop units to replace the outdated rooftop chillers and air handling units. These upgrades service the theater, backstage areas, lobbies, ticketing offices, and administrative spaces.
The project’s design ensured that the theater’s historic aesthetics and ambiance were preserved. GEA integrated the new systems without affecting the iconic visual elements of the Palace Theater, maintaining its place as a cultural landmark.
Care was taken to protect the integrity of the building’s original structure, allowing the theater to continue operating with minimal disruption while benefiting from enhanced HVAC performance and energy savings.
