GEA played a pivotal role in delivering MEP and FP engineering services for the new medical fit-out at 550 Clinton Street. This project involved the meticulous design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to support the operations of Maimonides Medical Space within the 8,000-square-foot area.
One of the key aspects of GEA’s scope was the integration of essential building services, including economizer/condenser water and hot water supply and return piping, to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the medical facility. GEA’s expertise enabled the seamless incorporation of these systems into the new building infrastructure, providing the necessary support for Maimonides Medical Space’s functions.
Additionally, GEA engineered ventilation solutions utilizing the louver band at the first floor to facilitate proper air circulation and maintain optimal indoor air quality within the medical facility. Through strategic design and precise implementation, GEA contributed to creating a conducive environment for healthcare delivery while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
