GEA provided comprehensive MEP and Fire Protection (FP) engineering services for the Eastern Mirage project, an 18-story glass curtain wall tower located in downtown Flushing. This elegantly designed building integrates the state-of-the-art North Queens Medical Center (NQMC) and luxury living spaces, featuring high-end amenities. With a total area of 248,620 gross square feet, the project includes 80,780 square feet of medical offices, 56,930 square feet of underground parking, and 110,910 square feet of residential condominiums and hotel suites.
The building’s striking glass facade atrium and LEED certification underscore Eastern Mirage & NQMC’s commitment to modern, sustainable urban development. The design incorporates advanced MEP systems that ensure energy efficiency and occupant comfort while meeting rigorous environmental standards.
Amenities within the building include a state-of-the-art indoor pool, gym, spa, restaurants, and conference centers, all meticulously planned to provide a luxurious and convenient living experience. GEA’s MEP and FP design services were integral in seamlessly integrating these amenities with the overall building infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and safety across all areas of the project.
