Project Key Features

The project involved the development of a 10,400 square foot flagship retail store for ALO Yoga at the specified address. The store spanned four floors, with each floor covering approximately 2,600 square feet. Additionally, plans included the addition of a 1,500 to 2,000 square foot roof terrace and the finishing of an existing 2,000 square foot cellar, enhancing the overall footprint of the establishment. Each floor was designated for specific functions, with the ground and second floors dedicated to retail, the third floor serving as an office/showroom, and the fourth floor allocated for yoga and meditation activities. The roof terrace was designed to accommodate a café and exterior seating, offering visitors a serene and inviting space to unwind.

As part of the project scope, GEA undertook the full MEP/FP fitout of all areas within the tenant’s space, including the commercial kitchen. This encompassed comprehensive coordination and design of various systems to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Specifically, GEA was responsible for coordinating and designing the kitchen hood exhaust flue routing and the grease trap, essential components of the commercial kitchen setup. By meticulously addressing these technical aspects, GEA ensured that the retail flagship store for ALO Yoga was equipped with efficient and compliant MEP/FP systems to support its operational needs.

Throughout the project, meticulous attention was paid to technical details and compliance with industry standards. By leveraging its expertise in MEP/FP design and coordination, GEA facilitated the seamless integration of essential systems, ensuring that the retail flagship store for ALO Yoga was equipped to provide a comfortable and inviting environment for customers and staff alike.
