111 Livingston Street is a 23-story building where the owner leased the 20th and 21st floors. Each floor spanned 18,242 sq. ft. with a 2,550 sq. ft. core. GEA provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, and fire alarm design services for the tenant fit-out at this location.
The recently completed expansion included various instructional spaces, administrative areas, and student workspaces across the two floors, which were connected by an inner stairway. This new location aimed to consolidate student services and collaborative workspaces, enhancing efficiency while maintaining a collegiate environment within an office building.
The integration of new MEP systems with existing building equipment was meticulously planned and executed to ensure seamless operation. This integration was essential to accommodate the specific needs of the instructional and administrative spaces while optimizing functionality, efficiency, and safety.
