GEA Projects in the News: Renderings for 101 West 14th Street are revealed!

July 25, 2018
GEA is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design services to a unique 13-story mixed-use building in Greenwich Village! Known as 101 West 14th Street or 531 Sixth Avenue, this ideally located building will feature a deconstructivist façade composed of stacked bricks. The façade is not only distinctive because it looks like Tetris, but it is also designed to maximize privacy between neighbors and yield extra space. The demolition permits have been filed and once completed, this project will be a distinguished 145-foot tall structure that will yield 80,140 sq. ft. in total area. Construction is expected to start in September, with a projected completion date in summer of 2020! Check out the full story at NY Yimby.
