GEA Projects in the News: Kaufman Astoria Studios Debuts New Renderings!

Kaufman Astoria Studios first opened in 1921 and after its newly announced expansion, its footprint will soon cover over 500,000 sq. ft.! It recently became the first studio to gain a back lot for filming and the latest addition to the campus will be a newly built four-story office building which will yield over 100,000 square feet within. GEA is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design services to this 84-ft tall structure that will house office space and two new stages, include 14-ft high ceilings, seven balconies and several wraparound windows.
