GEA Project in the news: Residential Building at 221 West 29th Street nearing completion!

Windows are going in at 221 West 29th Street, a new 21 Story residential building that is nearing completion. GEA provided MEP/FP services for this 78,695 sf structure. The space will consist of 95 rentals - 19 of which will go for below-market rates. Because of this, the developers were able to build a 30 percent larger building than zoning typically allows in this area. The ground floor will have 671 sf of commercial space, with the cellar levels housing a 15 car garage, recreation space and tenant storage.
